Iris unguicularis

Iris unguicularis are the perennial plants belonging to the genus Iris of the family Iridaceae.

Siberian iris are famous for the flowers in June.But,as the name suggests,Iris unguicularis "Kanzaki Ayame" bloom in winter. They have light purple flowers.They are also shorter than Siberian iris.
